About

I am a passionate fashion and brand designer.
As a US citizen born in Washington, DC, I lived in Beijing for 18 years before moving back to New York to study fashion design and work.
I was fortunate to travel extensively with my parents growing up so that I have a tacit appreciation of various cultural traditions and trends in Europe and Asia.

I love New York's magic where there are possibilities for people from all over the world. Whether you are romantic or realistic, you can find a space for yourself here. It is also why I studied Fashion Design at Parsons.

Passionated by my nature of culture chis first approach, I create fashion-forward products that meet the desire to express beauty in art and life, from inspiration boards and style concepts to sketching designs and tech packs. I work with a high degree of communication with incredible attention to detail and am also tech-savvy. 

 

I recently completed a Masters's in Branding at the School of Visual Arts. At the school, I created brand strategies for major brands that fit their goal and culture through an in-depth analysis of brand values and culture trends. I am excited by the innovations in digital fashion, looking forward to seeing the future use of CGI models for the general public and exploring new possibilities in fashion with relation to tech and culture. As a Chinese culture insider, I seek to create a modern renaissance by leveraging Chinese tradition.
